Stage 5: Claims Platform Overview
- Each claim is shown with its stage in the 15-step litigation journey.
- Each stage corresponds to a fixed funders rate of return (FFRR), starting at 75% (Stage 1) and decreasing by 5% per stage down to 5% (Stage 15).
- This reflects time and distance: early-stage claims carry higher returns but longer durations, while later stages carry lower returns due to reduced risk and time commitment.
- Typical claim duration: 12-24 months, average around 18 months.
- Minimum funding amount per claim: GBP 10,000.
- Funding term: 2 years; early settlements return capital plus agreed interest.
- Co-funders enter a non-recourse finance facility deed.
Stage 6: Funding Options
- Discretionary funding: Co-funder decides which claims to fund.
- Non-discretionary funding: Platform allocates funds on behalf of the co-funder.
- Flexible to suit co-funder preferences and risk appetite.
